We have a variety of committees in our organization that help our club grow and stay successful. Each committee page has a description of the jobs overseen and the contact information of the members in charge.
Our club was formed by 11 women in January of 1975. Officers were appointed, by-laws were composed, and their purpose - to provide emotional support and to exchange information on the raising of multiples - was established.
In July 1975, the Ocean County Mothers of Twins Club (OCMOTC) was chartered by the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Club, Inc. at that year’s convention in New York. OCMOTC was later chartered by the New Jersey Association of Twins Mothers Club, Inc in November 1976. We became incorporated in 1982.
To show that we are more than only mothers of twins, our name was changed on 2008 to Ocean County Mothers of Multiples (OCMOM).
